Project Title: Child and Youth Friendly Charter
Client Name: Swan Hill Rural City Council
Project Timeline: August 2006-August 2007
Project Aim: To create a Child and Youth Friendly Charter that will develop guidelines from the shared vision of its residents and service providers and especially its children and youth, for the future of the Swan Hill Rural City Council as a child and youth friendly community.

Project Aim: The Aims of the Drought Social Response and Recovery Plan are:
- To examine a range of areas including social inclusion, community health & well-being and information sharing.
- To consider the impacts of rural adjustment and climate change within our community
- To examine the impact of the drought on the Swan Hill municipality thus far.
The Objectives of the Drought Social Response and Recovery Plan are:
- To identify gaps in service provision and recommend responses to identified gaps.
- To improve the coordination of drought services, events and activities.
- To develop a coordinated action plan of events, activities, and services that will strengthen the region’s social resilience during a period of sustained drought conditions.
- To identify possible sources of funding.
